CV Advice
Your CV (or 'curriculum vitae') is one of the most important documents you will ever create - it is usually the first contact you have with a potential employer, and if it isn't of a sufficiently high quality, then it is very unlikely that you will progress any further.
Your CV is simply a summary of who you are, and what you have achieved in your life to date. In order for your CV to be convincing, it must:
- Be presented in a conventional format, that the employer can recognise and easily understand
- Contain all the information that the employer needs - and expects - to see
- Portray you in a positive, but realistic way
- Be accurate and error-free
In order to help you put together a strong CV, we have set up an online CV facility. To access this facility and set up or amend your CV details, please go to the Online CV page (you will need to be registered and logged on to access your CV).
If you haven't yet registered with us, you will need to do this by clicking on the following link: Register
