Alpha Consulting was founded in 2000 by Mark Heller and David Crawford. The following appointments have been made since that time:
Richard Stock (BSc FIA) - Non Executive Director
David Crawford (Managing Director) lives in Northern Ireland. He is an Honours maths and physics graduate, part qualified actuary and a former IFA.
David has 12 years' experience in the Financial Services Industry, and was latterly Director of a regional IFA practice. David is responsible for running Alpha Consulting and for developing strong relationships with our clients and candidates.

Mark Heller (Strategy Director) lives in Bristol. He is a first class Honours maths graduate, a qualified Actuary, and a qualified IFA.
Mark has 15 years' experience within the Financial Services Industry, and spent 10 years working for a multi-national Life Insurance company. He has extensive coaching and recruitment experience, and is responsible for running Alpha's undergraduate placement scheme.

Richard Stock (Non Executive Director) is based in Amersham. He is an Honours maths and statistics graduate of Warwick University, qualified actuary and Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
Richard has 15 years' Pensions Consultancy and General Insurance experience and has a wide network of contacts across the industry. He sits on the Joint Board of Examiners and the General Insurance Public Relations Committee.
